This is the value-focused MDR choice for a household, home office or small business that wants 24/7 human oversight while staying with managed Bitdefender. It is a meaningful step above ordinary antivirus because alerts are not left for the customer to interpret alone.

If an attacker gains remote access

A scammer may persuade someone to open legitimate remote-support software, so no security service can promise to block every connection. MDR adds a team watching for the harmful behavior that follows. If the intruder launches malicious tools, encrypts files, steals credentials or makes suspicious system changes, the service can investigate and take approved containment steps. Emergency containment may temporarily disconnect a computer to help stop further damage.
